Without of a shadow of doubt, I am glad I went abroad.

The Landscape As I See It

Unfortunately, in English-speaking countries, there is a sort of monotony that sets in as you get older. This monotony can be comfortable - in other isntances, it can be depressing - for some it is the very to go abroad.

For others, it is the thought of adventure or the chance to learn a new language. For yet more, it is a chance to begin a career in teaching.

No one reason is better than the other - although focusing on teaching is a true benefit to your students.

The fact of the matter remains, there is a lot to benefit from going abroad!
